Christy and Jacob Duke.....
Christy is in fact my sister. She and Jacob have been married nearly four years and have not had pictures made since their wedding! She is an interior designer full time and he is an oral surgery resident and Vandi so we had to squeeze it in after Thanksgiving before we all left town! I think they look great, but of course I am biased! Thanks Christy and Jacob for letting me do this!

Photographer's kids are like preacher's kids.....
Squeezing in the time to get pictures of my own family is surprisingly hard as a photographer , I am so often working on sets and ideas for other families. I also have to be careful not to have the camera in their face too often- they either get tired of it and don't cooperate(the pressure of a PK-photographer's kid) or become too aware of it and don't act natural. Despite all of this and trying to cram this in, at the last minute, in about 30 minutes I managed to snag a few...
